What type of reputation do you want to build in the business community? It's true that "you can't make everyone happy all of the time," but you also can't afford to make everyone angry the rest of the time. Take into consideration both of these scenarios: The one where your retailers are kept in the loop and everyone continues to make profits, and the other one, where you knock your retailers out of the loop and destroy that relationship. It's another great way to promote your site and build name recognition.
