"approaching established companies with product idea"

I have gone through the process of submitting a provisional patent application in Nov 2013. and then after a patent application and issued patent search found that there did not appear to be any conflicts with anything that has been issued or applied for, so proceeded to next step which was formal patent application in Nov 2014. So, I believe I am protected enough to approach companies who may be willing to enter in to licensing agreement.
So my question is . . . what is the best way to contact companies and
ask them about considering my product ?

Bill
