"same idea, new beginning?"

Hello, I am new to Oklahoma, arriving from Tennessee, but a native of Massachusetts most of my life prior. At one time, I had tried to begin a business idea when in Massachusetts, but did not succeed. Now that I am in Oklahoma, I want to take that same idea and try again here, but I am afraid to in some ways, because I don't want to fail again. I think the rural nature to Oklahoma would allow my idea to fare better this time around. Would I be foolish in trying again? I believe I have a real shot at this, but it is just a matter of finding the right location. What suggestions would anyone have for me in this situation? Thank you in advance for any/all ideas.

Those that never fail, never try. If the idea is still with you and you want to do, and have the ability to follow it all the way, go for it. Did you learn from your mistakes the first time. Can you stick out the down feelings of time wasted. It takes about 5 years for a business to be really successful. Even the IRS accepts this. Do you have a support system in your personal life, both personally and finacially. One that can put up with the lack of progress and your preoccupation with your business and lack of occupation with a personal life, or that will join you in these things. This is one of the biggest cause of failures in a new bussiness.
