so we live in Texas and I am thinking of opening a business for solar screen fabrication and installation. we have fabricated and installed our own screen and other friends and family. everyone seems to love it. its expensive to buy these things premade and install them yourself... do you think this kind of business would be a good idea??

I think if you see a market, you should absolutely go for it! If you have friends who are interested, then there is clearly a market. It something that is currently "in" and there are tax credits available.

You'll want to build a website that talks about your services, pricing, and any and all state and federal tax credits.
