I am thinking of an product that incorporates the use of certain items that are already thought of. Its hard for me to tell you exactly was this item is. But anyhow my question would be.... Do I take this Idea of this product to manufacturers or do i get get these products make them myself and then just market them as my own business. My main focus is the way you would market them, as the Idea is not completely new but just a different style. I don't know how else to explain it. If you have any clue what i am asking please leave me some input.javascript:smilie( ')
I can tell you that you can use a signed NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT to protect your ideas from the people who you want to answer your market research questions.
Only in asking those that would use/buy your item and those who might make/manufacture your item, will you know the answer to your questions.
Unless you decide to get a little more specific here.

You could do it both ways - you can take it a manufacturer to have the product made or you could make it yourself. A manufacturer is probably going to want a large order to start production. So, until you know whether you can sell this product, you're better of making a few yourself and seeing whether your items sell.
Regarding how to market - how is the original being marketed? Promote how your items is better.
Good luck!
