I am planning to start a tailoring business... And hopes to make it big someday. The problem with the fashion industry is that there are just one too many names now that it seems too hard to make it.

Then came a very weird but valid question, is the fashion business prejudice towards geography?

I mean... coming from a third world nation do I have a chance to showcase our products internationally, when the world is convinced that italy, france and usa is the center of fashion icons and great deal of designers from these countries manufacture most of their clothing products in asia?

Help, I am having doubts on putting up my business...

I'm giving away a secret here but.......

I read a story about about a famous person who always was being asked whether a person could be successful or not. When asked and he said that they couldn't be successful it was thought that his critique was too severe and what he said was if his one critique was enough to convince them that they wouldn't be successful then they should get out of the business. You know what that means? No matter how successful you are in business you are always going to have someone who is going to try and bring you down so it becomes a question what YOU want! Are you going to let someone else decide whether or not you are going to be sucessful?

Another thing that you seem to be forgetting is that you are on the Internet. How much more of an international resource do you need?
