I would like to venture into the Virtual Assistant arena. Any ideas on how I should get started? Besides registering a name, registering with the state for tax purposes and putting together a website, business cards and some sort of marketing plan(no idea there, and business plan. What else is necessary? Insurance? What type? Any ideas on how to market this? There seems to be many virtual assistants out there, any ideas on how to be unique?
I would love to hear how any other VA's got started and anything to avoid.
