"Starting a Bridal Shop"

My mother and I have been doing research on starting a bridal shop. I am looking for additional information, I haven't found much on where we can get our inventory from and how much to start out with. I am kind of looking for a mentor to help me sort through some of this. Any suggestions or ideas welcome. Thanks

Welcome to the World of Entrepreneurship!

Have you tried a Google search on "Bridal Shops" at least 100 plus miles from your location? Pick a location in a different state or different time zone. Research their website to see if you can relate to this business owner. Check out their "about us" page. When you find someone you "relate to" email and ask them if you can give them a call. Or, just pick up the phone and call. People like to help other people. If they end up being rude, just hang up and find someone nice.

Best of Luck to You!

You can certainly look into the Expo-connector.com. There are many vendors there that currently work with brides. Maybe they can be of some help! Check in for a chat any Friday. Ask for Nancy, she may be able to send you to someone that can forward you in the right direction. Success to you!
