"Couple Questions"

I am changing the prices on my websites. Should I show the old price with a red line threw in and the new price there also? Or just the new price?

I am shy and afraid. How should i approch people about carrying my product in their stores/shops?

What would doing that with the prices do for you? Are you trying to show that you have reduced your prices? I would just put the new price.

Approaching people about carrying your product in stores/shops is going to be real tough with the current economy. Many places are cutting back and so the likelihood of you being able to be successful with this is slim, although you also didn't say what your product is, if you can and you really want to try this, I would say that you will have to offer free samples to stores first so they can see if you product sells.

You must be healthy to be successful.

It wouldn't cost them anything to carry my product in there stores. I would be giving them a percentage of the profits for letting me put my product in there store.

I would recommend to let your customers decide. Use Google Website Optimizer and do a split or A/B test.

If you know HTML and such, great...but you will need someone to put the code into your webpages. You could have one with old prices with a red line threw and one with just the new price.

Google Website Optimizer will automatically swap the pages evenly and record the number of conversions (people buying or clicking something) and you will see which is more effective.
