We are starting a grooming business. Do we have to get the LLC before trying to find grants? We have a business plan written, but it still needs some tweeking. I need all the help I can get:) So I guess the main thing is what do we do now?

That can be a good biz to start. You should have your business structure in place before seeking money. I'm not familiar with grants for a grooming shops. I have seen that type of biz start with very little upfront money.

I have started and owned several businesses. I would be willing to give you some free advice and can put you in touch with an established grooming shop to consult with.
