I had read somewhere that there are incubator kitchens where you can start out small with your food business with the assistance of the local government. Does anyone know anything about this or how I can find one. I live in Orlando, FL.

There are no incubator kitchens funded through the state of Florida. I recently spoke to one of the representatives from the FL Dept. of Agriculture who explained they just don't have the funding. States like VA, NC, PA, OH, NH and others have incubator kitchens and small business development and economic development programs already in place, but unfortunately not in Florida.

You are welcome to google cooking with denay and the website has a listing of incubator kitchens both gov. funded and private. You can join the mailing list and be updated when new incubators open across the nation, possibly in your state.
