I'm looking for anything, really. I'm interested in food, like a sandwich shop (not Subway!) or a coffee shop. I'm also interested in retail, like a small clothing boutique. I don't want to do the whole Mary Kay, Tupperware thing.

Have you searched online at the classifieds. There are some websites that only advertise businesses for sale. I suggeset going to BizTrader.com. It's a global marketplace for small business. My neightbor is in the process of selling his small business after he posted it on there, but it's still a good place to buy one (obviously, if he's selling). It's a good place to find a small business on the Internet.
Anyway, check out biztrader.com sometime. You might be able to find something that you like. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out BizTrader.com, and I really like what I saw. I was already able to find a couple of potential businesses that I'm going to ask about soon. What I like about it is that it's super easy to use! Nice suggestion!
