"Idea for a new management company. Please give me your input."
Here in the Northwest we have an overabundance of small Espresso stands. I myself own one. There is another across the street and within a mile there are a total of 5 including mine. I am starting to see a trend of people trying to sell their stands because they are finding out that managing and suppliing the stands takes a lot of thier time and they are either unwilling or unable to keep them up. Here is my idea. I am thinking of starting an Espresso Management company. We could take care of Everything from Accounting, Employees, Supplies, things like that.
Any Ideas? How could I charge the stands? Please let me know what you think

I think it's worth looking into. It sounds like what you have in mind is actually opposite from franchising. With a franchise the franchisor provides the business model and leads for vendors and such. But, the owner (franchisee) is still responsible for all the dirty work (accounting, employees, payroll, supplies).
How about doing a survey of those other stand owners to see how they would feel about such a survey?

If your business is profitable and you believe the other stands are profitable as well, then consider buying out some of the other stands.
Then you'll be able to recognize the cost savings in having a single entity managing the accounting, employees and supplies...
You should also be able to build a consistent brand and then leverage that to a fanchise model if it makes sense.
My concern with your original idea is that if you are "taking care of everything"... where does the original owner have to profit... and if they can do nothing while you do everything, why not just pocket that money by owning the stand as well.
