According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, An average of 130 construction workers die each year in road construction accidents. Of this number, 23% of the fatalities are due to pedestrian workers being struck by traffic, And 18% result from workers being hit by work zone construction vehicles. The rest of the deaths are results of on site equipment accidents.
Construction workers are forced to work under extremely hazardous conditions. They occupy the same highways as vehicles doing upwards of 70 miles per hour, Usually only protected by traffic cones or similar signaling devices. IF a driver does not notice a work zone, Or loses control of their vehicle near workers, There is very little to physically stop them from driving directly at people on the job site at deadly speeds.
A new Invention, The Guardian, Would provide an innovative alarm designed to clearly indicate hen an unauthorized driver was entering a road construction area. The Guardian would give road construction personal an opportunity to escape from a hazardous or out-of-control driver. The Guardian is portable and could easily be transported from job to job.

This new product would act as a sort of invisible fence around a construction zone, Offering workers an advanced warning of possible danger. This Invention could help stop tragic accidents and potentially save many lives.
The Guardian could be marketed to all construction companies and warning device for other sues such as block parties etc.
