I live in a community with around 20,000. There are a few smaller communities that also have to come here to do any kind of shopping. I am thinking about opening a casserole to go cafe. There are still a lot of details that I need to work out but I am just wondering if it would even make it. I know for me personally I would stop in some place like that and pick up a casserole for dinner. It is easier then cooking when I get home late and better then hamburgers but in order for it to work there has to be more people then just me buying the casseroles. What are your thoughts ? I know a few people have said try selling them out of your home first and honesty that is not something that I want to do. If it was several casseroles for a group that might be different but I really do not want a lot of people coming and going from my home.
I think your on to a great idea, you probably won't get rich ,but you can earn a good living, even with a small pop of 20k.small towns do have cheaper rental comer cal property with the kitchen you need. You need to shop around.Don't sign a lease over a year starting out.
