"how to get paid?"

Sorry that I'm probably posting in the wrong place but I'm not sure where to ask this question. How do I find out my options on payments for an online business other than by check. I don't have a lot of money to begin with and someone told me it was expensive to have it where people can pay me by credit card. Can someone please direct me or tell me where I should post this question? Thank you soooo much.
K

Using pay-pal will be a good way to get started. If you have any website building experience you can utilize Pay-pal's program to expand your shopping cart buttons to accept credit cards like a merchant (around 3%?)

I would suggest cashiers check only. You can look into google pay and/or paypal.
