My business idea is to open a small boutique in Brooklyn, New York selling clothes and jewelry from India. The plan is to contact up and coming designers and showcase their designs in the store. These clothes will reflect a certain aesthetic; Western designs with an ethnic edge. Right now I have a VERY rough draft of a business plan and some money in the bank. My first question is, how much money should I have before going to the bank for a loan? And secondly, how much of a loan will I need? Perhaps the second question should be answered by my business plan, but I need to work on the financial sections! Thanks!
