"ed. business idea"

I've worked with preschool age children for over 10 yrs. I am very creative and energetic. The idea I'm pondering about includes being a storyteller. I would go to local childcare centers, schools etc. How would I advertise and what should I charge

Speaking from experience, many times, moms of pre-schoolers are so busy that they plop their child in front of the TV for a while so they can get some work done.

How about recording your stories, putting them on dvd, and selling them? Worked like a charm for "Thomas the Tank Engine"

Good Luck,

Steve Patrick

Have you thought about writing your own stories? That could add an interesting twist to your advertising. "Local Author/Story Teller Entertains Children". Also could give you some great exposure to sell your material down the road. Just an idea. Also consider getting a website. Visit www.myhomeoffice.ws for ideas.
Good luck!
