My cousins & I were playing a game of Scrabble a few weeks back and an idea came up that I think would make an interesting & fun membership site.

Take the scrabble words from your game and turn them into a story. You must use all the words though you can make 'run' into 'running' but not 'ran'. Also to allow users to add words into a table / database.

Only members would be able to add words, stories. Words added would potentially be searchable by others and stories able to be read by members. Teasers to non-members. Possible blog with random scrabble words & potentially definitions.

I'm not sure about membership cost but an annual membership is what I'm thinking. Maybe in the $25/year range?

Any thoughts anyone?

While I think the site and game idea sounds fun, I wonder if it is the kind of thing people would pay for? You might make more money and have more success if you make the site free to everyone and include Google adsense and so small tasteful banner and button ads to make money on the site. Just a thought.
