I think that part of what made Fender what it is today, even through it's made in Japan debacle, is that front men for some important bands use their guitars.
Who uses yours, (They are gorgeous btw), get some endorsements.
Selling guitars, like anything else, requires a target market... WHO is yours?
Get in front of them, get them listening to the voice of your guitar, get them to hold it, feel the slide, how comfortable the body feels against their belly, etc.
I play acoustic (for two and a half years) and have recently realized that I want a good voice and a better guitar now, and I would certainly look at a company such as yours to find the guitar I want (if it were acoustic, that is), the prices are fantastic for a custom-made guitar and they look great... if they sound as good as the bites and they feel as good as they look, then you should have a winner.
Get yourself into the guitar stores that the pros go to. Here in Montreal, it's Steve's. If your guitars were in those shops, they'd probably sell very well.
Feel free to bounce specific ideas off us (I'm sure I'm not the only guitar player), and we'll see if we can't help you out.
