My friend and I just recently acquired a travel magazine that's been in operation for over 10 years. The previous owner did not do much to market it and as a result we are coming across the problem of people or potential advertisers not even recognizing the magazine. So, in order to get sales we need that brand recognition. And besides approaching doctors' offices and hotels as well as the bookstores and supermarkets we're in now how else can we can the publication out there?

Does the magazine have a website? With the internet being so primary these days, it is very important to have a website for other people to find out about your magazine.
You could also try sending out mailers. Maybe you could somehow get a list of people who travel often. Maybe those with time shares or something of that nature.
