I want to open a business out of my home to offer area schools cheerleading uniform and supplies. I would go to the schools by appt and meet with the coaches to decide what style/color, etc for the uniforms and size the girls at that time. Then when they come in i would again set up a day/time to have the girls try them on and make sure they fit. Also at that time they can purchase any other supplies they might need to complete their uniforms. I don't have the money right now to try and rent or lease a storefront so i want to start this way and save the money up first.

What do i need to do first? Who do i need to contact? I really want to get moving on this but have no direction.

I would start by asking the school board, then if it's on a school by school basis, I would contact the school's principal.

It would probably help if you have samples already sewn that you can show off and photos of other like projects you have done.

You might want to schedule the "fittings" at the school rather than in your home.
