Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've thought about this idea for some time now. I have noticed that name brand handbags are very popular but very expensive, so that's where my idea comes in. I've thought about selling gently used designer handbags. How does this idea sound and what should I name my business? Thanks for your time.

I like the name materialgirlz... don't see any reason to stop using it.

Fwiw, my daughter told me about a company here in Downtown Montreal where you can rent designer items, including handbags for the weekend. You might consider something like that as an idea as well. Nothing like having a Versace for the club Saturday night.

Check out the website of Bags, Borrow or Steal.

They rent designer bags. You can learn lots by reading their terms, fees, etc.
