I live in a part of the country that has a lot of fairs and festivals all summer and way into the fall. Having just started a website and thinking of ways to promote it, I am getting a booth at the next big event and handing out flyers. My thought is this... to find others who want to advertise with me and have their cards prinited along with mine on the flier. This flier would then be passed out to the fair goers. I am going to make it good for a discount on my site and I'm sure that whoever would advertise with me could/should offer something too. Obviously, this would give it some value and hopefully stop it from going right to the trash. I have already got the booth and if enough people would do this with me, I might even make a little on advertising.

any ideas?

Did you find out if the fair/festivals allow flyers to be handed out. I know the ones near me do not. Even those selling actual product have to limit the amount of bag stuffers they can offer.

without wires from anyone broadcasting an uncoded wifi signal
in your area.
Now how about if you put together a website with games,
competitions, local news or events and included paid for
advertising for local services and businesses in your area.
You then broadcast your own wifi signal which can be picked by
anyone with wifi on their laptops or home pc's, but instead of
connecting to the net, they connect directly to your site? You
can if you like, also produce a coded prepay card which would
enable people to access the internet from your site as well! I
have web building programmes, servers and router details and
