Hi,
It looks like a useful website. I'm curious as to why someone wouldn't simply email the file to where they want it to go?
Are you thinking that companies will use it to host downloadables that they are selling to others and this will keep their host bandwidth from being choked out? If not, that seems a valid use for customers, to me.
I would certainly promote it that way.

About your question , considering the mail sending there are a lot of mail services that have limitations about the size of every single attachment file, in our solution there is limitation as well but the quota is high. Many users find it difficult to load big files such as pictures and video clips they have taken for example and share them easily with friends or colleagues.
As an adjunct. I'd examine the idea of having your landing page describe who you are and what you do, so that your target market has a eureka upon landing... as in: "Aha! This is what I've been looking for!".
You might want to look at affiliate marketers of software, ebooks or documents, for starters.
