"Local Business Startup Guide"

I would love some feedback on this idea.

Almost every small / new business website offers advice about starting a new business. My website would be a step-by-step guide for starting a business in my County or city.

For example, instead of "Get a business License" my site would say "Click here for a County business license form (with a link to the county website). If you are located within the City limits you will also need a city business license. Click here."

I plan to start with my city & county but this could be repeated over and over for additional areas.

Revenue would come from business listings in a local resources section with different levels of listing & banner advertising.

I am a bookkeeper that has worked extensively with startup businesses and am constantly amazed how many entrepreneurs are clueless as to how to get a sales tax ID or what employer accounts are necessary.

I have some experience designing web pages and a partner with much more.

So, any thoughts?

What city/county/state are you located in (i.e. where you'll start this guide)?
Which geo areas would you expand your guide to next?
