What does your business do?

Theresa’s Jewelry and More is a jewelry sales and service business started April 30, 2018, and located in Jacksonville, FL. I want to produce the most appealing pearls, totes, bags and paparazzi jewelry for my customers in the US both retail and online. I sell lead and nickel free jewelry and also mount pearls on pendants, tote and handbags, earrings, rings and gift items. We sell the oysters and use the pearls for mounting. It is important to us to establish comfortable relationships with our customers by getting to know them and understanding their needs. I guarantee my customers will receive the best products and if something is broken we will replace it. I will need funding to move the business to a new location, advertise on social media and word of mouth sales. We have a webpage for the pearls and are completing one for the jewelry. We want to set up an E-Commerce website for our business. I want to be a trusted and well respected business owner that has quality inventory.

How would you use the grant money?

We would use the money to initiate our marketing and advertising campaign not to exceed $1,000.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

Once we implement a professional advertising and marketing campaign we will make our name known and expand our customer base. We will be attending industry events to advertise and bring in more customers.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

We will be hiring employees as we expand and will do so from underserved populations. We are active in community charity events and support programs for seniors, youth, disabled persons, veterans and those from low income households.
