What does your business do?

Provide outpatient pediatric occupational therapy services to children ages 0-20 with special needs.

How would you use the grant money?

I would use the grant monies to complete the recent expansion of my clinic. One of the areas that needs to be completed is the handwriting center by providing materials and to provide a docking station for tablets and IPADs to be used for writing enhancement.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

I have limited funds secondary to the significant Medicaid cuts in Texas and I am unable to complete the handwriting center at this time.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

I will be providing a patient customer appreciation movie day at our local movie theater for the patient's that we service. Many of our patients have sensory sensitivities and processing difficulties and are unable to attend the movie theaters because it is too loud and over stimulating. Some of them have limited transportation to attend the movies as well.
