What does your business do?

We manufacture and sell our own patent pending product, a reusable little gadget that can be used in many many places on many different items. The product was developed based on a need to reseal a bag of cereal so they didn't go stale too fast. Just like the rubber band, the chip clip, the twist tie, or the zip tie. The Multi-Use Bag Tie is a simple and easier way to temporarily reseal bagged foods and snack items, and can be used in the refrigerator or freezer. A great idea for keeping electrical cords neat orderly and safe. This award winning product comes in handy just about everywhere you go. Boating, Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting, Picnic's, at home in the Garage/Shop, Office, Computer or Music room and many other places around the house and while on the go.

How would you use the grant money?

The money would be used to purchase more material so we can continue producing inventory.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

Currently, we are selling the product in over 60 Ace Hardware stores, 20 Tap Plastics stores, 5 New Car Dealerships, 3 As Seen On Tv stores, 1 True Value and counting. This money will allow us the purchase more material so we can continue with product. Ace has 4700 stores, so we have a long way to go. Currently we are talking with Ace Hardware Distribution Center. With this many stores to service, we will need all the working capital we can get so that we can fulfill the orders as they come in.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

Our main goal is to someday soon, make enough money to support us going outside of our house to find a location and hire some of the out of work community residence.
