Need help to design a flyer announcing the opening of my business.

Start - up has been delayed somewhat due to health peoblems.
However, I now have all the business matters in place & ready to go.

Ready to pass out flyers but having kind of a brain freze & cannot
come up with anything that's gonna jump out & grab peoples' attention.

Also kinda panicky about the whole situation of start -up, with being so close to the opening.

Can definitely use words of encouragement.

The flyers that tend to catch my attention are the ones that have a very catchy, short 'title'. Something that immediatly grabs me. Not sure if this is much help to you, thought, as I can't come up with anything catchy for you to use.

What matters to people is what you will do for them and not necessarily that you're starting a gift basket business.

Will you save them time? Will you offer convenience? Will you sell standalone gifts as well as gift baskets?

Put yourself in your prospects' shoes. Before you create the flyer, ask yourself what would make you buy. That's what's best to appear on the flyer.

Are you marketing your business to individuals or businesses? The approach would be different depending on the market you are trying to target.

I would try different flyers for specific types of customers or baskets (corporate - employee appreciation - new baby - wedding / engagement - new home - etc). Be sure to list the other types of baskets you offer at the bottom of the flyer. Then deliver flyers where they are most appropriate.

Example: Employee appreciation / Thanks fot the business basket flyer to offices.

New home basket flyer to Real Estate Agents, Title Cos, etc.

Not really about flyers but ... You could approach salons, massage therapists, etc and build a basket around their gift certificate. Leave a sample in the salon, replace as they sell.

I am currently offering flyers at discounted prices. I also employ the most open-minded graphic technologist who can simply offer services at very low fees for options such as design, printing, and layout. Printshops will rob you blind, but we'll make sure everyone sees your flyer.
