Hi,
I'm new to IdeaCafe and although I have read of lot of the information on grants, I still feel overwhelmed and confused. I've seen in a SBA brochure that there are grants available for minorities, and I assume being a woman falls under there, and also for thos with financial difficulties in starting a business. When I try to check this out, I get lost. I'm a single mom who desparately wants to start a business. I KNOW that I could be successful at this business and honestly I'm so obsessed with the idea that I can't concentrate on my current job. Would anyone be kind enough to refer me to a simple to understand site that will explain whether or not I would qualify for any type of business grant? I'll be glad to answer questions. I'm just so overwhelmed with all of this and maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? Thanks so much!
