"Dog Treats"

Hello, my idea is to further my dog treat company. I have recently felt like I have run into a wall. Here are my questions for you maybe you can help me answer some of them and help me expand my ideas to further my business.

Some of you may already know, I have a business name, website, etc. I have also already sold at bazaars and other such places. I am always working on getting my name out there as well. I am always trying to improve upon what I do in the business as well.

1. How can I make myself/my business more appealing?

2. How can I get customers to want to buy?

3. How do I know why they are not buying?

4. What other items or products besides treats, toys, blanket, and gift baskets could I provide?

5. Is it okay to place a business card on someone?s windshield if I can tell or see that they have a dog?

6. I know that you?re not allowed to tamper with someone?s mail boxes. How do I get a mailing list to send out a flyer or business cards? What are other inexpensive ways that I may spread the word?

Any other tips, advise ect would be great and can?t wait to here from everyone with there suggestions, feedback and idea.

Thanks again!

I would try to market to the local vet. Maybe offer them a wholesale price or leave them on consignment.
Another option could be used with a groomer or the vet. Offer to write a news letter for them. A newsletter writtten for groomer could have an article about the groomer, written by you. Another aricle pitching why groomers are important and then pitching your product and site. This would all be done for free, as long as they agree to grant you acess to their customers using their contact list. If you are able to pair the vet with the groomer the 2 list could be even better.

I have a few other ideaas that might work, if I knew more about your buainess. Send me an email and lets talk.

I was in PetSmart the other day and they had a whole rack full of different doggy treats. They were decorated for Christmas, but I am sure that that will change as the month passes.

Try Pet Stores.
