"concerns re: non-disclosure"

I have designed a web app that I want to have created. I am looking for advice on the following.

How can I insure, when I start farming out my spec to potential developers to build for me, that they don't just take my idea and do it themselves? It would seem this is a common concern, when entrepreneurs come up with an idea and then want to pay someone to build it out for them. What is the best process to follow?
