"ASI is it worth it for a supplier???"

Hi
Have been in biz for about 3 years. Im a minority owned co, manufacture, and patent pending, looking for a distributor. Is ASI the right move for me? Im in retail and promotional products just looking for the extra push to find distribution.
I have lots of info on the company just looking for real world feed back.
Thanks
Maureen Wartian

Maureen,

I think ASI is worth it as long as you attend the shows and actively promote your products. A friend of mine had a unique product in the sign industry and did well at ASI events. I see your product is patent pending which is a good thing. If you are going to look for a distributor, you will want to remove retail pricing from your website. They will want to know about turnaround times, stock levels, etc.

I would start with a phone call to Kaeser Blair www.kaeser-blair.com and try to get interest from them. Your margins will be lower by being a wholesaler, but if you can move more volume, it might be worth it.

Feel free to look me up if you have any questions or need help opening doors to distributors.

Best Regards,
