"Post Office Q"

Hi everyone-

I'm new to the boards; this is a great site. I am launching a new business where I'll be receiving lots of products in the mail. I don't want to give out my home address to vendors, but I'm not sure if all shipping couriers (Fed Ex, UPS) will ship to a P.O. box. Does anyone know what the best thing to do is? Thanks!

Jennifer

You are right, this can be a dilema. I don't know anything about the type of business as you have not said, but could you consider renting a small office and having things shipped there? There are smaller places available for a reasonable cost and you may need to do this anyway, if your business gets too large. Otherwise I would use a PO Box when you can and your home address when necessary.

I think, if I'm not mistaken, that UPS Stores will do something like this, but only at their staffed locations. That would be something to look into. I'm not sure if there are any other locations in the area that would let you do that, but that would be something to check into.
