I want to start making gift bags.
At first I came up with the idea of Bookbag to go program which allows parents to receive a bookbag full of their childs school supplies so theres no need to rush and scramble.

Then I came up with just general gift baskets for special occasions.

Birth
Birthday's
Anniversary's
Beach Day
ect ect

Does anyone think any of these two ideas are good? Honest opinions please.

I just LOVE the book bag idea!! WOW! As a mom of a middle-schooler, I wish I had the luxury of having a pre-packed backpack with his needed school supplies. That would have saved a LOT of time!!

There is serious money in the gift basket business. My wife's cousins built up their gift basket business in their condo and eventually thay had to move into a small warehouse. Three mall locations and enough business for the three families to live pretty comfortable. They had hired help and finially the business grew to a point they were forced to sell it or work around the clock...


The malls allow you to concentrate on the impulsive spenders and the cashflow was more then I'd ever think it could be, for an example they would do 10,000.00 a day near the holidays?
