I am interested in opening a Party place for children to have Birthday Parties. In the area where I live there is a great need for this type of business. Does anyone out there know how much money is involved in starting one of these business' up. If you have any information please let me know. I am very interested in the Business.

I had a few emails back about 8 months ago about a Franchise in this same business,however I never did get the information that the company said they were going to mail to me.

By jumping party place, I'm guessing you're talking about having those inflatables they play on.

For something of this nature, your liability insurance would probably be a major expense. Any situation where you had kids playing would be, but there's a greater likelihood of even minor injuries here.

Before you pursue it further, I would check with an insurance agent to get an idea of the premiums you'd pay for this versus children party businesses with different activities.

If you sent for information that you never received, try searching for them online. If you search under the name of the business, you probably won't have any trouble locating them.

You might also try networking online with event planners. They could probably answer some of your questions and give you some good leads on resources.

Try going to Yahoo.com and select Groups. Then, search for a group using "event planners" or "party planners."
