What does your business do?

Smiley Transportation is a private student shuttle service. We are a door-to-door student shuttle service that has been in business since 2007. We offer before and after school event shuttles and to and from school shuttles. We do what the school bus service can not. We provide peace of mind to the parents. They know when their student has made it to their drop off location and when they arrive safe at their home through our electronic message service.

How would you use the grant money?

Smiley Transportation, Corp is all about community. We would like to use the money to set up a Smiley App that we can send out notices to the community and keep parents updated on events, amber alerts, school alerts..ect.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

We could start the application now, but this grant would help us jump start it even faster.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

The new application would "pay it forward" by alerting the parents and others of area alerts, state alerts, and school alerts.
