Torva Cattus: A Revolutionary Big Cat Simulation Game

What does your business do?
Torva Cattus is a browser based online simulation game. When open it will be free to the public and will allow players to experience the goals and challenges of running their own rescue facility. Torva Cattus uses a realistic and fantasy mixed game setting to entertain our players. The game has several options for each player to choose. From the first registration the players can choose what country they live in, are they a morning or afternoon person, would they like to go to school or create a trade, would they like to own a zoo, sanctuary or reserve and where their business is based. That is just a few options throughout the game the player chooses their own paths to travel creating a game that is highly unique to the player and easily reset to try out the different variations. There are over 15 ways to play the game. In the game a player rescue, nurse, breed and re-release wild feline species. No two players will ever play the exact same game. Torva Cattus once open, will donates 10% of it's profits to helping rescues all year-round. We will also edcuate members on the animals in the game with a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit a sanctuary or tour a behind the scene tour of a zoo. Each of the feline or food item has a fact file which list where they can be found and it's conservation status. With great growing potential, Torva Cattus is really a game of many experiences.

How would you use the grant money?
Torva Cattus has a 22+ pg. word document with coding needs for the game play. The game has over 15 different ways to be played which required a game document for each combination possible. This coding will cost us $1500 to implement and we just aren't able to cover the full costs. The grant money will go directly to coding the game so that it can open to the public and support the players interest. Upon recieving the grant it will immediately go to paying the ASP/PHP coder to begin coding the 15 different game play options.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?
This grant will enable us to open to the public. It will take the game out of the Alpha Testing phase and into the Beta phase. This is where the game is live on the internet and open to free registrations. This will draw traffic and interest in the game with each second, this will also start giving us live feedback. Our alpha testers have been an asset and played a big part in the improvements made and new features to be added, but as it stands Torva Cattus cannot move forward with development without funding help.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?
Yes! Torva Cattus once open will donate 10% of it's profit all year round to help Big Cat Rescue in Tampa Florida and Noah's Ark in Georga house and feed their rescued wild animals. BCR house big cats of many sizes, many were surrenders a few are rescued from zoos and side shows. Noah's Ark house wild animals of all differnt kinds, at this moment their most famous inhabitants are a lion, tiger and bear by the name of BLT the trio lives together and are dependent on one another for everything. We will help make one wish come true each year for the Make A Wish Foundation which has always been a charity that has been close to my heart, and use the game's reach to teach people about conservation acts and the inner workings of our Zoos, Sanctuaries and Reserves helping give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
