What does your business do?My business provides photography for weddings, engagements, children, pets and families. In addition people can purchase ceramic tiles and home furnishings with their photographs printed on it.
How would you use the grant money?I would use the money to advertise my business and buy equipment to help on the photograph shoots. Right now I only do outdoor and indoor photography, but when I do indoor photography I have no lighting equipment and I have to advise my customers to have well lit venues. I also would love to offer Christmas photography and holiday photography but I do not have any backdrop equipment, or backdrops. I occasionally use my own home furnishings for photography props and scenes. I would use the grant money to buy props and photo equipment to give people even more wonderful services.
What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?The grant would help me do indoor photography and allow me to use props. Right now I have no lightening equipment, photo umbrellas, or backdrop scenes. Most of all the props are my items from the home as well.
If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?i would like to create a link on my website that promotes companies who have helped me. I would advertise companies and refer other companies who help me, so I can help them with their business. I love helping people, and would give that same respect back if somebody helped me.
