Sign-Off Form
You're frantic! It's the eleventh hour. Time to go to press with that brochure, business plan, catalog, or price sheet. Everyone's finally turned in all the pieces, and it's finished. Whew! Just a tad behind schedule, so now you're ready to shovel those pages through your laser printer, service bureau or printer and get 'em reproduced.
Wait just a minute!
Take a couple of minutes to have one or two calm, eagle-eyed people double check, so you won't reproduce a disaster. If you use a professional copy-editor, they'll do this for you. But if you're on your own, use this checklist as a guide for catching those tiny glitches before you have thousands of them.Get whoever looks over the job to sign and date the Approval Sign-Off Form. It's amazing how much more carefully people review things when they know their name will be on the line.
Now list all the things you can think of that could go wrong. Remember that the most common, everyday items are the most likely to be overlooked. Here's a form that you can tailor to your own situation:
