Hi, I am new to this site because I recently thought of a potential business idea. The idea is a website geared towards a music niche that would generate hits and have potential to make money on advertising. I do not have the computer programming skills necessary to make my idea come to life (cgi, Perl, and others perhaps). Is there anyone who is knowledgeable in those areas that would be willing to talk with me about this idea?

Not sure I understand the site model.
Do you want others to be able to add content? If so...a content management system is what you want.
There are several in open source that do an excellent job.
There's a bit of a learning curve but they are very powerful programs that would allow others to add content to the site.
Joomla and Drupal are the top 2 in most peoples opinion.

Give us more info on your ideas and we can better offer suggestions.
