I am an avid traveler and adventurer and I have decided to start a business where we completely customize active vacations around the world for the upper middle and upper class. I know it might sound odd, but you would be surprised how many people in those financial categories want to break away from the typical resort vacation and go see what only the locals know about, while experiencing something new such as overnight kayaking, backpacking, rafting, etc..

I am asking for your help in brainstorming some names. The name should be appealing to a wealthy market, have something to do with experiencing something new, or active. Some ideas I have come up with already are:

Destination Unlimited (Taken)
World Class Adventures
Passport to ____________?
_______ Destinations?
Tailor Made Adventures
__________ Therapy?
First Class Adventures?

I'm not saying their great, but I have to start somewhere and hope that with your help I can come out of this with a great name. Thanks for your help.

I really like your idea. I was just reading something in Time magazine along the lines of your business idea.

Whatever name you get, make sure that you get the domain name.

I really like Tailor Made Adventures but the .com is taken. How about-

I would scrap any name that start with "my" - it just sounds cheesy. If you could get customadventure - that would be great!

I really like some of those names. Let me ask you something I had thought about. I was watching the Travel Channel and I realized that many of these upscale businesses are named after themselves. I know marketing just your name is very difficult but what if I included "Custom Adventures?"

I think adding your name might be a good idea in this case. It lends some distinction and credibility to your business as if you have already been operating for a while.

I would go with Falk Custom Adventures and then perhaps develop a tagline/slogan to complement your name which could help better define what Falk Custom Adventures is all about.

I would do some research to make sure that your name(Falk)is not being used by another travel-related business if you haven't already done so.

Adding your own name is the way to go. Marketing wise its actually easier because names are usually easier to remember - and yours, in particular, would be easy.

Use the shorter versiom with the tag line.

Stay away from names with numbers unless you can get both the digit and the spelled out version - i.e., five and 5.

We decided on "Falk Custom Adventures" and our tag line is "Adventures a little beyond the ordinary."
