What do you think of when I say the word Gooberstein?

Phlegm...a yucky goober. Sorry...just my personal opinion. It is a funny name, though. Kinda sticks with me (no pun intended). Now I like it

Makes me think of peanuts and german beer! Which is kinda funny cause I don't drink beer!

I came up with the name one day because my son was being silly so I called him a goober, then I thought he was really smart too, so I added stein (like Albert Einstein) and the name gooberstein stuck.

That is what I thought too. Like you have a friend who is smart but kind of dorky.

I figured it was the new word for "geek".

I do admit, I chose your thread to respond to because I was curious about the name.
