I need a name for home-based business networking . Not only will we exchange referrals but we will also put on serval expos during the year to genrate more business. Please help with a name this is only for local vendors not national.

I live in a a town named Wingate. that is in the state of North Carolina. I have was thinking about using "Local Business Network" But hoping that someone could come up with something more orginal than that. Yet it is only going to be for local business here in the state.

Are you doing local as in NC or local as in Wingate?

Personally, my philosophy with names is to keep it simple. If Wingate Business Networking describes what you're doing, then you should use it. If you try to be too clever, people will thing - wow - that's really great! - and then forget the name because it's not something that readily comes to mind

Unique names are really important in branding but you're providing a service that doesn't require branding

Also, make sure that whatever you get, the domain name is available. You should purchase the name even if you decide you don't want to have a website right away... although, for something like networking, having a website would be really great (particularly one that offers a forum so that your members could meet in person and on line).
