Now is the time to pitch the Holiday Gift guides for all media outlets.
At this point you have missed your opportunity to pitch monthly and quarterly magazines for their Holiday Gift Guides. You can still pitch newspapers and weekly magazines. Concentrate on fashion/women focused publications and editors. Have samples, price lists and discount information for the products ready to send to editors. If there is an interesting story behind the design, creator or company include that in the press release as well.
Don't be afraid to call editors and ask them what type of items they are looking for to fill out their annual gift giving guides.
