I need help with marketing a new child safety product. The product is patented, produced, and already packaged. It just needs to be sold to store such as hardware stores or child stores. It's a really cool product and it is the only one like it. If you have any suggestions please give me your input.

The product is for young children. It is a safety outlet cover to protect children from sticking things in outlet covers. Our target market is towards new mothers and mothers or fathers with young children. It is reasonably priced, similar to a regular outlet cover, and we want to sell them in brick-and-mortar stores such as Lowe's, Menards, etc. as well as online. We would also like to sell them wholesale to maybe home building contractors to install in new homes. Thank you for your reply and I hope this is the information you were needing.

I have already researched other safety outlet covers on the market. They are nothing like ours, different style, different benefits, etc. Our outlet covers offer less hassle than the other brands. For instance those plugs that you put in the outlets. They can also be used for looks as well. They cover the holes on the outlets and they can be painted over to blend in with the wall. They come in different colors, styles, and in GFI or standard. I have also put out a survey for the outlet covers on constantcontact.com and have had only 2 responses.
