"PR for At Home Businesses"

Increasingly the world of small business is becoming an online only enterprise. In the old days (pre-internet) most business owners had to rent either office space or a storefront. Today more and more independent entrepreneurs are operating out of their spare bedroom. In fact most of the new business registrations in the United States are for at home businesses with the owner the only employee.

If you fall into this category you may think that your only source of new clients is through internet networking or email marketing. You may even have invested in an email list only to be very disappointed in the outcome. Or you may spend hours everyday on business networking sites again with little to no revenue to show for all of your time.

If you spend any time on these sites you eventually learn about the PR distribution services that are available to all businesses. You can submit your business press release to any of these sites for free or for a small investment, all with the promise that journalists are constantly scanning their sites for news and information to include in newspapers, magazines, or on television. The first question that you need to ask yourself is do you really know how to write a business press release that contains news and information and not just ad copy? And the second question is why don?t you submit your well-written press release directly to the major daily newspapers across the country? By submitting your press releases directly you immediately eliminate being one listing among literally tens of thousands that you?re hoping a journalist stumbles across. It?s time to separate yourself from the pack and learn how to write a newsworthy press release and then submit it directly to the editors of major U.S. daily newspapers.

Much Success,
Michele
