"Getting Our Message Across (Any Ideas Appreciated)"
Sat Mar-21-09 01:29 AM by Enviroclean

What a great site.... We are new to it so hello all.

We have a commercial cleaning business servicing all over Brisbane Australia. www.envirocleanaustralia.com.au

We are looking for ways to introduce our business to other business owners. We are on Google Adword and get about 2-5 clicks per day and 1 quote per week.

We are finding it hard to get through to them. When we do get in, our service is very quickly snapped up by them.

We offer a great service with no contracts, which means we take all the risk. Our cleaners operate by checklists, so that nothing is missed and we conduct regular QC inspections.

Any ideas would be appreciated... We are looking forward to helping others on here in need also.

Andrew

It sounds to me like you already have an established business, and you are looking to expand. Is that correct?

If so, networking is a good first start. Joining member organizations is always a great way to get in front of other business owners. The challenge is usually being heard above the din of the other business owners trying to do the same thing.

To help refine your approach, use those member organizations to find partnership opportunities. Work with complementary businesses to expose their customers to your offering and vice versa. Come up with a plan that benefits the both of you -- focusing on adding value for the customer and increasing the perceived value for both of your businesses.

In addition, attending events where your customer base might be located and providing information for free is a great way to get their attention. Positioning yourself as a knowledge expert, and someone who will help solve their problems will go a long way towards getting those doors opened.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

I do performance based business development services and I have a 90 day program that can actually help you obtain that objective....if we cant...YOU DONT PAY FOR OUR SERVICE*. All thats needed to get started would be having a comprehensive business evaluation performed ($350.00) and submitting some marketing information for us to develop the strategy and resources to get it done.

If interested in our program, contact me directly via email to setup an initial phone consultation to see if our program is a fit for you. 877-849-1412

Andrew,

You should be developing a good database of clients and prospects by now. If not, make that a priority.

Then develop a monthly newsletter with tips on how companies can save on their cleaning bills. Don't make it a hard-sell newsletter. Just getting your name in front of them (e-mail newsletter is what I mean) will add to your business.

Bad weather is not the time to stay in. Bad weather is your friend. Do cold calls to companies in the area on bad days. Make note of unclean areas and be willing to share tips with the office managers or receptionists.

Andrew,

If you are an established business with satisfied customers, then ask them to refer your company to their fellow business owners or associates. Offer a 10% discount on the next month's service fee if their lead becomes a customer.

Also try networking with office managers, procurement managers, who ever is the person who is responsible for researching and/or hiring outside vendors. The big boss usually is not the one doing the initial vetting. Even if they do not make the final decision, usually their recommendations hold the most weight with the decision maker.

It looks like you have a common problem - you have a great service to offer, people who use it are very happy BUT not enough potential clients even know you exist. Have you considered a flyer, delivered to a certain area by Australia Post? Or put into the PO boxes. To save money you could simply gather up your family and friends and do it yourselves, targeting business premises.
