I need marketing ideas for a home daycare. I can only keep 6 kids in my home. Any unique marketing ideas? I thought of doing an open house one Saturday for about 4 hours and have a fun activities for visiting kids. Any ideas would be greatly apprecitated.

Great idea about the open house. Who's your targeted market? What income bracket do they fall in. Are you in a community area. WHy I ask is if there is a community newsletter publsihed, I would write a small article on a issue related to day care. Such as "How to select the Right Day Care for You." Then, place a classified ad in the newsletter as well. People reading your article will feel that you are an expert in your business. At the end of the article place contact information for parents to get in contact with you. If you can only have 6 kids, why go to the expense and time for an open house? Your time may be better invested if you use a word of mouth approach. If you are involved in a church, check with them. Many times they have more kids on the list for their schools than they can handle.
